I have not seen pictures about the RH40C excavator with the TriMatic system for 15 years... In fact I had seen it at two O&K ECHOs. The first one reported the fantastic O&K stand at Bauma 83. Between the range you can see a black and white RH40C (I think it was the same machine showed at Stefan´s website loading an Aveling Barford Centaur), but it was difficult for me to see the mechanism of the boom. On the other hand these latest pictures show clearly the benefits of that system: an added movement to the boom which allows bigger forces when excavating and higher reach when loading trucks placed at the same level as the machine. I think the TriMatic system is very interesting and I wonder why it did not become more popular . Probably, ageing of the mechanisms...? Any idea? Can you show more pictures?
