Kroll K-1600 As far as I know this is one of the first giant tower crane types manufactured by Kroll. This crane is so ugly because is customised for shipyard use. From Mr. Pius Meyer.

Well, first of all I would like to say thank you for yours, Mr.Meyer`s and other`s contribution to the forum.

On the other side for me this crane looks "beautifull" because design engineers were able to replace a normal conterweight jib (approx. 1/3 jib lenght) with such short one.From the static view much more interesting.

@Linaprim: you are right about kroll k-1600, it's something speciall, but you have to admit: these russian BK cranes are really ugly I have seen one live Close to Timisoara town at a power station. the base is huge, but the mast is not so impressive.
