Peiner first ? or Potain ? or better Peiner... ? Well, I don`t know. Peiner`s datas are more comprehensive...
But both are on their way, it may take some more time, to be halfway correct in result.
( I`m struggling with Potain`s MD... telescoping system at the moment. Son of a b.... )
F.ex.: How does the climbing section crossframe get extended to securely mount with the maintower chords adaptor ?
( I mean the lower two pins of the assembly`s 4 pin adaptor ) Is this done manually ? Can`t be, but I see no mechanism there !
F.ex:. Why is the lifting mechanism tilted, so it can lift only about 2m at a full cycle of the hydraulic cylinder ?
Even why then there is an insertion hole approx every 50cm ? Emergency Exit ?
There has to be much ( unneccessary ? ) precision behind that.

All things by Potain, that I`ve got no clue by now.

Would be very nice indeed to see some Peiner from MK series- mk 2500, mk3000, mk5000, but unfortunately all we know about these cranes is the hook under height, rail span and lenght of the jib......anyway, the 150 m huh Kroll k3000 drawings were fabulous! Two old potain md1000
These cranes were first manufactured in 1978.
Most of giant cranes ever manufactured by Potain from MD series were MD1000.
Of course the most spectacular was the one from 1984 for Turkey with 137 m under hook height

It would be great to have a drawing for 137 m HUH Potain MD1000 from 1984, the tallest mobile tower crane ever made!
