djlivus 0 Geschrieben 17. Dezember 2010 Autor Geschrieben 17. Dezember 2010 @S46: nice cranes....but the k3000 giant was absolutely fabulous! Kroll did some very beautifull cranes in the past, ...for instance the old kroll k1800 (like the one used in Louisiana, US in the late 70s) and, of course that k3000 would have looked great if ever ercted to its maximal height. But I have to revert on my preavious opinion and agree kroll k10000 was not a very aestethically nice crane. Also many k1800 made the kroll in the past for shipyards don't look very well because they are not tall enough, hence they don,t have the right ratio between height and tower width. My next proposals for your tower drafts (of course when your spare time will allow it) are the giant from Potain: 137 m HUH Potain MD1000 from 1974 with tower system of 5,5x5,5 m, 155 m overall neight and a base of 16x20m and 124,5m Potain MD2200 shiped in 1988 to Russia.
