Actually, I assume it to be the towersystem of K 10000 also,
and I think we have worked on the same datasheet here...
If that specific crane does really exist, ( 1980 / USA as you mentioned ) I wonder where and why ?
Any picture of that giant available ?
Because I thought it would be only a principle sketch for a K 3000 from Kroll.

Anyway, I`ll do my best.
I just have to figure out the 16m portal / base...portal would be more interesting,
what do you think ?

The 1980 Kroll K3000 was manufactured, that is for sure. In the document from Kroll is said that the crane was delivered to a customer from USA. I also contacted Kroll officials on their mail and they confirmed the existence of the crane. But that crane had only a height of about 90 meters under hook and it was not mobile. The height of 150 meters is the maximal value that can be attained by that crane on the same mast configuration. Unfotunately I have no pictures of it. I also hav'n seen any picture of the crane till now.
