Gottwald 0 Geschrieben 11. Mai 2010 Geschrieben 11. Mai 2010 Hi,The third 3150 HC was also as the second one a static delivered crane, I own two posters from Liebherr of 2 different kind of platform constructions were on both a 3150 HC is set up ,one of the pictures (I believe the crane above on the picture) has a second slewing ring mounted around the turret with only a cabine and jib .I will ask around what has become of this crane. The Thyssen Crane and the Korean crane are the only two i know of that are mounted on a original Liebherr undercarrige, the 3150 in norway on the spmt is a self constructed/designed model. The 1250 HC's were as far as I know not delivered in exceptional height configurations and only the last 2 for Spain and Korea were delivered with a undercarrige. The one that was owned by Breuer in the early 90 has only seen 3 different job sites (Railway station Cologne,Kraftwerk Rostock and Muhlverbrennung Wuppertal) after the last job in Wuppertal (were I was self in luck to be one of the building team) the crane was sold to a concrete factory as a wharf crane in static configuration mounted on 3 tower sections with 60 meters of JibI own some pictures of the Breuer crane in dismantelled state, taken in Hurth before the setup in Wuppertal. PS do not ask me to post them here because I haven't got a clue how! Zitieren

Did I miss something ??The pinnacle for very big towercranes shure has passed, but astonishingly Kroll just selled their last ever produced K 10000 to Syncrude few months ago... and we see many ( smaller, but not small at all ) upcomers. And these are obviously sought after models... so let`s wait and see. Welcome back, S46!!! You are right , there are some reasons to be optimist. Anyway, I always prefered old towers, from 70s and 80s. 5000HC was quoted together with 4000HC on Liebherr site till a few months ago (for both cranes was indicated a height under hook of 110m). As a comparisson with crawler cranes, I saw on mamoet cranes site that Kroll K-10000 has a maximum loadmoment of more than 50.000tm, superior to all their crawlers (for instance, for demag cc126000 is displayed a max loadmoment of less than 40.000tm ), although the max load is much bigger for crawlers (1600t against 240t). Is it any mistake here?Greetings, djlivus bearbeitet 12. Mai 2010 von djlivus Zitieren
djlivus 0 Geschrieben 12. Mai 2010 Autor Geschrieben 12. Mai 2010 @Gottwald: very interesting data! Thanks for posting... So, the Liebherr 3150HC from Verdal was originally statical (mounted on concrete foundation), then it got that customised base. Also, I know that Liebherr in the past had also some giant like 2500C(101m HUH) and 1600/1800C and the customised 450/750C from Saudi-Arabia(hook height 122?, 128?m). Did they manufactured (or at least drafted, only projects) other giants in the top/slewing range?Greetings, djlivus Zitieren
