The rail span is 18 meters-it is the largest rail gauge for a tower crane. Only the project Kroll k-25000 would have had a span of 22 meters, ut this project is only on paper.

Kroll manufactured 15 K-10000, first in 1977. 13 of these cranes were delivered to the former Soviet Union,
and 2 for United States. These last cranes were static. Instead , all k-10000s from Soviet Union were rail-going on base portals.

The maximum weight of a rail going Kroll k-10000 is almost 1132 tonnes, according to rodson,com.
The static version displaied on the site www.towercrane.com is smaller. Also the height under hook and the overall height is smaller.

Russian also used on nuclear pwer plant sites the huge crane ckp-3500. The rail span for this crane is 15 meters. The mast size is 3.2 meters. The russians deem these cranes are not really tower cranes, but a special category-rail jib crane. But anywere else in the world this sort of cranes are clasified as tower cranes.
For instance in China-dbq series: DBQ1500, 2000, 3000, 4000. It is true, anyway, this sort of cranes loans many features from the large crawler cranes.
